On March 10th, our company successfully passed the approved exporter identification by the Customs of the People's Republic of China and was granted the letter of approval by the Nanjing Customs, marking that our company became the first enterprise in Yixing to pass the approved exporter identification.

What is an approved exporter?

Definition of an approved exporter:

An approved exporter refers to an enterprise that has been certified by the Customs according to law and can issue a declaration of origin for the goods it exports or produces that have the origin qualification under relevant preferential trade agreements. (Order No. 254 of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Approved Exporters)

What conditions should an approved exporter meet?

According to Article 4 of the Administrative Measures for Approved Exporters of the Customs of the People's Republic of China, the approved exporters shall meet the following three conditions:

(1) Enterprises with advanced customs certification;

(2) Mastering the rules of origin under relevant preferential trade agreements;

(3) Establish a complete management system for documents of origin qualification.

After our company has obtained "Approved Exporter" status, we may issue a declaration of Origin through the Approved Exporter System and confirm the declaration of origin directly by our company with signature or seal as specified in the applicable agreement. The listed goods can enjoy the relevant preferential trade agreement rules of origin, and there is no need to apply for the Co (A) on a case-by-case basis. This will further reduce costs and improve customs clearance efficiency.
